Manchester – South Africa – Dreamcatchers

I am writing this on good Friday from Derrick & Marsha Sweet‘s farm in Northern Ontario in Canada. They run the Certified Coaches Federation. I arrived here last night about 9pm from London. It was 15 degrees when I got here, which was about 14 degrees warmer than London. Wow… it even snowed in Burnley in the UK while I was there.

My view from Derrick & Marsha’s Farm this morning

I loved being in South Africa and the UK in the last week. Caryn Darley and Leila Benelli did an amazing job of hosting me and filling venues in South Africa as did Michelle Clarke and Debra Brown in the UK. Johannesburg was really warm and we had the film launch partly open air in a fantastic restaurant, attended by well over 100 people. In Cape Town Mel’s cafe hosted our branding workshop and the movie and was a great venue as well.

I have had so many other incredible experiences on this tour. It seems incredible I have been on the road for only 6 weeks as I feel as if I have experienced a life time. the word GRATITUDE comes to mind. There are so many people I am grateful to that it is almost too many to mention, so I decided I would create a ‘Dreamcatchers – the making of’ book from the film and tour, to let others know how they can turn their own dreams into reality and to recognise everyone who was involved in making this the success it has been so far.

I stayed with Michelle Clarke and her friend Andrea at ‘The Barn‘ near Lancaster. Owned by Thomas Longton, one of the UK’s leading sheepdog trainers. I got out in the paddock with Bo Peep (real name Brenda…pictured above) and ran through my paces with one of the dogs. I was a natural (yeah right). In Burnley Debra Brown got me onto the BBC for a two hour radio show which was also a great deal of fun. We had a fabulous audience in the North and they really got the movie as well. In London I got to spend time with Mike Southon which we enjoyed dinner and a great show with some of his friends at the comedy store. I then breakfasted with Michael Bradford who was a co leader in our Egypt tour and one of the leading Intuitive Healers on the planet.

On the BBC

So after a relaxing breakfast of oatmeal pancakes we may go horse riding today. Next week we are onto the final leg of the tour. It has really been a wonderful experience, so if you are reading this and know people in the USA or Canada, have them come along to one of our events here. Go to www.rockyourlife.net for details.
